Podcasting Your Global Career

Nov 29, 2015

Welcome back to the dHarmic Evolution podcast with me James Kevin O’Connor, singer/songwriter and master storyteller. On today’s episode, I have quite a powerhouse of a lady when it comes to social media marketing! She’s set up a consulting and coaching business over the years and is still growing, partnering with different authorities and leaders in the social media world--Jenn Herman!

Jenn began with a blog that she says had around a 100 readers. She didn’t start with a big audience, just like everyone else. With hard work, dedication, and continuous learning, Jenn has molded herself to become the social media guru she is today.

She specifically loves Instagram (and she doesn’t hold back from saying it out loud, a lot of times!). She’s been all over the Internet, helping businesses grow and target their market through various social media channels. This girl is smart! You should all listen to her tips and tricks on how to become more effective on social media and get that business of yours rolling!

On this episode:

  • Jenn shares how she started, and her mistakes during the early stages of her business
  • How being consistent in your posts/content will reward you one day
  • She talks about be a “podcast whore.” A what? Find out what she means by that!
  • Jenn talks about Instagram and how to make your photos stand out!
  • She also digs into the world of Facebook and Pinterest, and what type of content you should post on these sites!
